The factory in Münchwilen is refurbished. Embroidery moves to Münchwilen
while laminating and printing switch to Bühler/AR. |

2001 |
A new despatch building is erected, the old one being refurbished for finished goods
inspection and laboratories. Establishment of the Eschler Thaiknit joint venture. ISO
9001/2000 certification. |

2002 |
Installation of a new tenter frame and modernisation of finishing plant. Eschler
Thaiknit goes on stream with warp-knitting embroidery bases. September 2002 a flooding
disaster requires additional high investment in a relax dryer, new tenter frame and
building. |

New investment in the dyeing plant, and acquisition of a hot melt machine for the
laminating plant. |
